Refuge Retreat
Monday, Feb. 15 - Saturday, Feb. 20
At various times throughout the year we engage in concentrated retreats on the Four Great Preliminary Guides. These retreats consist of four sessions a day and are appropriate for those with some experience.Going for refuge means finding protection from our problems by developing special Dharma realizations with the help of Buddha's blessings and encouragement from our spiritual friends. During this retreat we have the opportunity to deepen our experience of refuge and enter the Buddhist path to liberation and enlightenment.
$5 per session/$15 per day/$50 for entire retreat
Session times: 8-9:15am, 10-11:15am, 5-6:15pm, 7-8:15pm
(No 7pm session on Monday and Wednesday)

About Retreats
It is traditional in Kadampa Buddhist Centers to engage in regular meditation retreats. This allows us to digest the teachings we have heard and to gain some precious familiarity with them.
The more sessions we can attend, the more peaceful and concentrated our mind will become, and the more relaxed and happy we will feel. We can also hope to gain some special, lasting spiritual insights that are not so easy to reach in the busy-ness of our ordinary routine.
